Century House has been our choice when visiting friends and relatives in the area. The newly renovated room we were in was clean and beautiful. The breakfast room was bright, cheerful with appropriate seasonal decorations. Bebe, the cook and all around cheerful hostess, provided ample choices all 4 mornings for guests with various dietary needs. The thoughtful pot of warm soup at the front desk and the warm hand towels in the evenings provided an old world charm. It made you feel like a guest. We had dinner in the restaurant one night, thoroughly enjoyed the prime rib as well as the lobster rolls. The service was very good.

I liked the layout of the facility. The hotel was down in back of the house restaurant and i had no idea how big it was. I was also surprised by the amount of bookings at this time of the year. Staff was super friendly and they had amenities like hot soup til 8pm for all to take back to their rooms and hot towels with essential oils if you wanted. The place was very well appointed and clean as was our room. The room was spacious even with 3 people in it. No noise in the evening and our room was one from the main reception area.

Tim

Older very well maintained building with fireplace in entry and coffee and water station always available. Complimentary soup warming in a large pot awaited us upon our evening arrival. The bedroom was large with comfy beds and bathroom had a large shower. As many guests have commented, the breakfast was superior. Homemade muffins, typical breakfast hot items… but all well prepared and tasty, yogurt/ oat bar with fresh fruit and multiple toppings. I appreciated the addition of olives and nuts available.

They have pet friendly rooms which are situated with their own entrance that includes pet waste bags and a trash can and the rooms are farther from others so you don't have to worry any noise your pet makes will disrupt other guests. Also appreciated the floor was not carpeted so if your pet spills food/water or has an accident the clean-up is easy. I thought all the amenities in the lobby were great and the breakfast was delicious with many options.

My aunt and I stayed here while we were in the area seeing a show in Troy. Less than 15 min to get to the Music Hall, and the hotel was perfect for what we needed. Comfortable beds, easy to find, clean room. We stayed one night, but I would gladly return in the future. We happened to be here for the Mother's Day breakfast, and it was really great, friendly staff all around.
